Bayou State Inspections uses Infrared Thermal Scanning and Building Science Practices in all of our Thermographic Surveys and has done so for more than two decades! We provide professional reports and surveys for the following:
Infrared Thermal Scanning is a useful tool to help determine electrical problems before they become disruptive to companies production. Power loss can stop production and cause data and communications loss that could cost you weeks or months of setbacks.
Property risk management has clearly proven that regular IR Electrical Surveys of electrical panels, disconnects, buss systems, motor controller cabinets and HVAC systems that will help reduce failure rates and provide important trending data for your electrical assets. This can also reduce your insurance costs making ROI instant.
Changing electrical components before failure, at regularly scheduled maintenance periods, can keep all phases of your companies production, storage, data and climate control systems up and running at peak efficiency.
Roof thermographers follow national standards or guidelines such as the Infraspection Institute Standard for Infrared Inspection of Insulated Roofs or ASTM C1153-Standard Practice for Location of Wet Insulation in Roofing Systems Using Infrared Imaging as the standard of reference to performing Infrared roof scans.
The new International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) has insulation requirements that can dramatically increase the cost to replace a roof membrane on a commercial roof. If the roof is repaired instead of replaced, then these insulation requirements do not apply, so repairing that leaking roof has a significant cost savings factor built-in. Using Infrared Thermography can lead to finding energy-robbing roof leaks. This can save hundreds of thousands of dollars on a typical job. Let Bayou State Inspections help extend the life of your existing roof and save you money!
James Yaeger Holds a Level III Certified Infrared Thermography Certification from the country's leading Thermography Institute as well as an Accredited ACAC Certification. The American Council for Accredited Certification (ACAC) is pleased to announce that its Council-certified Environmental Thermography Consultant (CETC) designation has been accredited by the Council for Engineering and Scientific Specialty Boards (CESB). CESB is a nationally recognized, independent accreditation body founded in 1991 to provide standards for engineering-related certification programs. CESB-accredited programs must follow strict guidelines for integrity and independence in their policies and operations. CESB accreditation is a mark of superior quality and distinguishes well known certification marks. The ACAC's Council programs employ psychometrically rated examinations that test industry knowledge and also require verified field experience of each certification candidate. Council certifications are board-awarded by a nationwide panel of industry peers for a period of two years, after which each certificant must undergo a rigorous recertification process. CESB accreditation is the latest evidence that ACAC certifications continue to set the standard in the industry for integrity, credibility and independence.
